Histories related to a place are sometimes invisible and often overlooked. How do people assign meaning to place? How is history etched onto a landscape or erased from it?
Join our Block Museum Student Associates in the gallery for a look at works in our collection that reveal complicated layers of personal, generational, and societal histories rooted in the land we share.
Block Museum Student Associates are Northwestern undergraduates representing interdisciplinary fields of study from across the University who lead thought-provoking discussions about art and ideas that are relevant to our lives today.
Free, 30 minute talks take place in the gallery
