Behind the Wire: Documenting the History of Kenya's Independence Movement through Digital Heritage is a hands-on conversation with Chao Tayiana Maina, founder of African Digital Heritages. Maina will introduce the work of African Digital Heritages through the technologies it uses and the questions it asks, exploring themes including participatory heritage, public history, immersive technologies, and the nuances around doing digital heritage work in an under-funded and unrecognized sector.
